Surgery

Harney County Veterinary Clinic provides soft tissue and orthopedic surgery services. For most elective surgery procedures such as spaying and neutering, your animal will be in and out in the same day. For our clientele with long travel times to Burns as well as our working clientele, we do offer a courtesy overnight stay for all surgeries in an effort to accommodate their schedule for check-in and release of their animal.

We also perform surgery for such problems but not limited to fracture repair, urinary bladder stone removal, abdominal exploratory surgery, foreign body removals, mass removals, and emergent conditions such as c-sections, pyometras, and bloat.

There are a limited number of surgical procedures that we do not perform. Those include ear cropping, debarking, plate fracture repair and thoracic surgery.
